About Us

Patience is the founder of Patiently Guided Law Office, LLC.  True to her name, Patience possesses a natural empathy that allows her to connect deeply with those she serves. She understands that navigating family law matters and character and fitness bar application matters can be emotionally challenging, and she is committed to providing her clients with the support and guidance they need during these difficult times.

Patience is from Long Island, New York, she received her B.A. from University at Albany, and her Juris Doctorate from the University of Baltimore School of Law. After graduating from law school, Patience had the prestigious honor of serving as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Judge Cathy H. Serrette of the Circuit Court for Prince George’s County, Maryland and the Honorable Judge Richard R. Trunnell of the Circuit Court for Anne Arundel County, Maryland.  After her clerkships Patience worked as an Associate Family Law Attorney at both small and large size law firms in Montgomery, Howard and Baltimore County, Maryland. In these positions she zealously advocated for her clients in a wide array of family law matters.

 

In addition to her professional achievements, Patience is very involved in the Maryland legal community. She is an active member of the Montgomery County Bar Association, J. Franklyn Bourne Bar Association, the Maryland State Bar Association and she is a volunteer attorney with Maryland Volunteer Legal Services. Her dedication to advancing the legal profession and serving her community is further demonstrated through her participation in the Montgomery County Bar Association Leadership Academy, where she was selected as a 2023 Leadership Academy Fellow.
